Geared towards younger student, this program provides instruction
on proper snorkeling techniques and gives students a chance to use
their skills in the creature filled grass flats. The marine instructors
and biology majors on staff provide information about the organisms
that are caught. |

Water SCUBA - Beginning SCUBA |
|
The introductory SCUBA course, open water SCUBA , prepares the diver
with the skills necessary to dive safely and confidently. SCUBA
training builds confidence and self-esteem. |
| Advance
and Rescue Training |
|
Advanced training builds upon the fundamentals of the
open water class and teaches techniques such as deep diving, night
diving, underwater navigation, and search and recovery. The Rescue
training provides the advanced diver with first aid skills necessary
to assist in an emergency dive situation. |
Dive
Medic Training
|
This is a course in first aid and CPR. After taking the
rescue course, we advise that all divers take this course in order
to be prepared for emergencies. Upon completion of this course,
students also have certification in adult, child, and infant CPR,
as well as first aid. |
DAN
Oxygen Provider Training
|
This Divers Alert Network course teaches one how to properly
administer oxygen in the event of a diving emergency. It also reviews
and updates students on the forms of decompression illness. |
SCUBA
Refresher Course
| If
you have already been certified but need a little help in remembering
everything, the refresher course is for you. Instructor supervised
dives and skills review will bring everything back into focus for
you. |
